CORAL LASKI

Interpersonal & Vocational Consultant

Owner and creator of YBS Consulting, Coral believes in lifelong learning and putting Your Best Self Forward through authentic and engaging communication. "I love to find new things to learn and share with my students and clients! Communication skills are invaluable to every person and my goal is to help my clients develop and maintain stronger relationships with others and feel confident in a variety of settings!"

Coral completed her Undergraduate Degrees in both Psychology and Communication Studies, to include a minor in Leadership Studies, at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) in 2009. She continued directly into her Graduate Degree, earning a Master of Arts in Communication Studies in 2011.

Coral has taught multiple sections of Interpersonal Communication, Public Speaking, Theories of Communication Studies, Leadership, Conflict Resolution, Business & Professional Communication and more. Additionally, she served as the Assistant Director of the Pre-Collegiate Development Program at UCCS working with over 800 middle and high school students throughout Colorado Springs and Pueblo to help put them on a path toward college and career success. She also spent time as a Career Coach in the Career Center at UCCS where she helped countless students in all aspects of career/job/internship searching, application, and interviewing skills.

Currently, Coral teaches courses at both UCCS and Pueblo Community College in their Communication Departments. Her favorite saying is "To Teach Once is To Learn Twice" and she is a true believer in the importance of lifelong learning. Every semester, Coral learns from the experiences and knowledge of her students and hopes to provide them with useful tools they can apply in their own lives!

Coral is first and foremost a mother to 2 amazing children! She has a 4-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son. They love nightly pajama parties, hiking in the mountains and sharing a love of books together.

Coral's passion in life is helping others succeed, to be authentic in their interactions with others, and feel confident in their interactions and relationships at all levels.
